The princess of R&B is back with a brand new single. Kyla will again prove that she deserves the title as the country’s R&B princess with her new album slated October 2007 entitled HEARTFELT. Collating heartfelt powerful ballads in the past in her own renditions, the album’s first single LOVE WILL LEAD YOU BACK.
HEARTFELT boasts 16 tracks of Kyla’s remake of the great love hits spanning decades of good old school standard to modern r&b. Kyla’s version of Taylor Dane’s hit in the 80s LOVE WILL LEAD YOU BACK... is having its # 2 seat at LOVE RADIO respectively. A heartfelt video that unravels the love gone wrong story in a music video will be aired soon as directed by Mark Mendoza.
HEARTFELT will definitely showcase Kyla’s gifts as a distinctive, no non-sense powerhouse vocalist and she can definitely does a revival like her own. Kyla’s new album will take you to a journey from her version of a classic song from a classic contemporary R&B legend, Luther Vandross, with ALWAYS AND FOREVER to Kyla’s personal favorite classic song OVER THE RAINBOW of Patti Labelle to a perennial wedding song FOR YOU of Kenny Lattimore to WITH THIS TEARS of Celine Dion; to Michael Jackson’s ONE DAY IN YOUR LIFE.
Kyla’s hits from five successful albums under EMI Phils set her talent and achievements apart from others. Five albums namely Way To Your Heart; Feel For You (this should be 'Kyla', not Feel For You -- Em); I Will Be There; Not Your Ordinary Girl and Beautiful Days pave way to Kyla’s sixth album HEARTFELT that will surely bring you old hits to her new approach.
